Software skills

Tools and technologies are the mainstay of the whole localisation process. Projects would simply be unfeasible without basic tools such as a word processor or an email program. Each specific process requires a different software package, be it project management, translation, engineering or desktop publishing.

Extensive knowledge of software applications is crucial for project analysis and subsequent engineering tasks. An important part of my professional experience involves dealing with localisation software applications and thus, my knowledge on this field has significantly increased over the last few years.
